J. Scott Klein, President: After working
in the family insurance business, Scott obtained a masters
degree in hotel administration from Cornell University. In
1991 he founded the KIS hotel program, combining that knowledge
with years of insurance experience. Scott is a hands-on President
and is involved in all aspects of the program and agency management.

Patt Alford, Vice President; Managing Director KIS PG Umbrella Programs: Patt has been with KIS since 1993 and brings a wealth of insurance agency experience. She holds a certificate in management from the AMA. Patt is your point of contact for all our monoline umbrella programs and provides our brokers with the unsurpassed service that is our trademark.

Jonathan Klein, Secretary/Treasurer: Jonathan Klein CPCU has had a distinguished career in retail insurance brokerage, having owned an agency for 20 years. He served the CPCU society as president of the NJ chapter and as national Public Relations committee chair, and was as an adjunct faculty member at the College of Insurance in New York. At KIS Jon is responsible for national marketing of our hotel program.

Pat DiGregorio, Manager of Operations and Wholesaler Marketing: Pat D joined KIS in July 2007. We have a long standing relationship with Pat from her many years of working in the wholesale brokerage and program side of the business. Pat is experienced in program administration and underwriting. In addition to her administrative duties, Pat markets our umbrella programs to other wholesalers.

Suzanne Slavin, Underwriting Manager: Suzanne rejoined KIS in October 2007 after working at AIG where she was an underwriter specializing in excess casualty. Suzanne has a diversified financial services background. She holds a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist Designation and has a masters Degree in Accounting. With her strong underwriting skills, Suzanne works closely with Scott underwriting and selling our hotel programs.

Bernadette Colon, Underwriting Assistant: Bernadette joined KIS in 2001, and is a licensed CSR. Bernadette assists Suzanne with underwriting, servicing and issuing policies and endorsements.

Carolyn McMahon, Claims and Loss Control Manager: Carolyn has worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years, the last 10 with KIS. Caroyln orders inspections and follows-up on recommendations. She is your point of contact for reporting claims.

Donna Pugliese, Administrative Assistant:
Donna joined KIS in 2003. She maintains our producer agreements and assists Bernadette on policy issuance and endorsements.
